to benefit from the discount pricing and mail the postcards
as you need to.

Postcard credits can be purchased once you get to the Address Your Postcard stage of the postcard-making process. You'll see the Buy Postcards link on the top of the screen. 

Buy in larger quantities to receive the best value.  Unused credits will remain in your postcard account to be used whenever you like.
